Chrome Extension
One-click export of article text as clean UTF-8 for voice or studio workflows.
What STVS does
STVS is a minimal Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that extracts the main text content of an article page and exports it as a UTF-8 .txt file, ready for downstream voice or studio use.
- One-click export — Open any article, click the STVS icon, then press Export.
- Smart extraction — Uses structure and AI-assisted cleaning so you get only the article body (no ads, comments, or related links).
- Clean output — Plain text with title, source, URL and a single blank line between paragraphs.
Unzip the file, then load the folder in Chrome as an unpacked extension (see steps below).
Enable Developer mode
Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/. Turn on Developer mode (top right).
Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked, then select the folder you unzipped (the one containing manifest.json).
Use STVS
Open any article page, click the STVS icon in the toolbar, then click Export. Choose where to save the .txt file.
File format
Exported files are UTF-8 text with a short header (Title, Source, URL) and the article body. Filename: STVS_YYYYMMDD-HHMM_<domain>_<title>.txt.
